WHAT DO PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZERS HELP WITH?
Professional Organizers assist with a variety of areas of organization, including residences, businesses, productivity/time management, chronic disorganization, space planning, wardrobes/closet systems, digital organization, financial management, packing/moving, plus many more areas.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER AND A HOUSE CLEANER?
Working with a Professional Organizer can be a very personal and emotional process. Organizing requires decision-making and often an assessment of what has led us to live in a cluttered home or workspace. We ask why you are holding on to things or repeating habits that might be creating anxiety, strained relationships, shame, or mismanaged time. We then help to create a new environment that brings more ease and peace to your daily life.
WILL YOU COME TO MY HOUSE?
No, all of our sessions will be 100% virtual. My intention is to teach you how to get organized and stay organized by sharing my step-by-step process and coaching you through it.
DO I HAVE TO BE PRESENT FOR THE ORGANIZING SESSION?
Yes. Organizing projects require your feedback and decision-making. In addition to the one-on-one time we spend together, there will be times when I will give you homework to complete before our next appointment.
MY SPOUSE (RELATIVE, FRIEND, BOSS, ETC.) IS THE ONE WHO IS DISORGANIZED. CAN I SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR THEM?
Yes and no. It is important that the person you are wanting to help has decided for themselves that they want to work with an organizer. If they have asked - and you are gifting this to them - then yes!
If this is something that YOU think they need, but they are not in the mindset themselves, then I cannot work with them. Organizing is a non-judgmental process and only for those that are ready to make a change and commit to the process.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
Organizing is not a quick fix. Often clients have spent years or decades developing habits that have created the environment they are in. It can take time to reset the environment, implement a new system and/or change existing habits.
I will provide an estimate for how long it will take to reach your goals, but this is subject to change.
